Summer - Poemas de Guadalupe Sosa-hull
Summer
Poema publicado el 14 de Junio de 2007
August was getting stronger in '96,
drenched by the generous rains,
Summer with a broad, yellow face,
full of mischievous life,
its fingers dripping corn and fruits.
My 92 year old amazing grandfather was
getting weaker,letting his musical artistry
drip from his blessed fingers
getting ready to die.
